Francine Schmid began her professional career at a major Swiss bank, where she completed her commercial apprenticeship with a vocational baccalaureate. She was subsequently selected for an internal development programme for particularly promising and high-potential young professionals. This gave her insights into various business areas, allowed her to gain diverse experience in direct client contact, and provided her with the opportunity to work in both Zurich and Lausanne.

After several years in the banking environment, Francine Schmid’s professional path led her to the tourism industry, where she gained further valuable professional experience in an international and dynamic environment.

At Witena, in her role as Project Manager, she works alongside the partners leading the mandates and serves as the central point of contact for clients and candidates. She is responsible for the execution of national and international search mandates and supports projects throughout the entire search process. With her structured and diligent approach, combined with a strong commitment to quality and service, she makes a significant contribution to the smooth execution of mandates.

In her free time, Francine enjoys travelling and discovering new places and cultures. As a balance to her professional life, she enjoys dancing – a passion that gives her energy and inspiration.
